You are Give Yourself Kindness. Together we are Give Yourself Kindness too. 

I started Give Yourself Kindness from frustration. I was within the ups and downs of recovery - a recovery that was transformed by some CFT (compassion-focused therapy). 

After the therapy I was on the search for tools to help me - I'd seen everywhere people talking about the benefits of journaling - but a blank page felt too overwhelming. I was searching for guided journals - and everything I found included tools that I knew could be really unhelpful. 

I found things that piled on the pressure, made my critical voice louder and made me feel like I was failing at journaling. I knew there had to be something better. 

My mission was to work with leading experts around the world to bring you self-compassion and tools that worked. A journal that supports and empowered you to nurture a kinder inner dialogue - with the important reassurance that an inner critic is normal - that experiencing uncomfortable emotions is normal - but importantly there are researched-backed tools to help. 

I'd experienced the change self-compassion had in me - but it wasn't easy - I wanted to make it easier.
